Congratulations to Alyssa Thomas, graduate of CD High, for being named the ACC Rookie of the Year. Alyssa led the 13th ranked Maryland Terrapins Women's Basketball Team in scoring and steals and finished 2nd in rebounding. What an outstanding performance!

The Lady Rams freshman basketball team won the Lower Dauphin tournament to close out their great season. The Rams defeated East Pennsboro, Carlisle and host Lower Dauphin over a three day span to take the hardware. The girls finished the season 17-5. Uniforms are to be turned in this week to Mrs. Bushong in room 200.

Congratulations to the girls freshman basketball team as they advanced in the Lower Dauphin Tournament by defeating East Pennsboro last night. The girls play tonight at 6:30 vs. Carlisle.

The Freshman Lady Rams improved their record to 7-2 with a win over rival CD East, 42-30. The Rams play Harrisburg today @ CD @ 3:45.

The Girls' Varsity Basketball took its first loss of the season last night to Trinity. Jessie Probst led the Lady Rams with 10 points and 8 rebounds. The JV team remained unbeaten with a 46-38 win over Trinity. Jay Davis had 11 and Cassidi Weaver had 10 to lead the team.

The freshman Lady Rams (1-1) lost on the road to Trinity 37-29. Maya Hairston was 5 for 9 from the line as she led the Rams with 11 points. Jasmine McKenzie had 6 and both Tayler Forrester and Noelle Meck had 5. The team will compete in the Harrisburg Christmas tournament over break. The varsity girls' basketball team ran it's record to 4-0 with a 68-45 victory against Bishop McDevitt. Four players scored in double figures: Mariah Quattlebaum (15), Jessie Probst (14), Preciious Martin (12), and Gabby Scott (11). The JV Team also won 33-11. Jay Davis had 9 points and Perfect Martin had 7.

The Girls' Varsity Basketball Team defeated Chambersburg Tuesday night 63-33. Mariah Quattlebaum scored 16pts, Precious Martin had 12 and Emilee Salinger contributed 11. The JV Team also won 44-21. Amanda Stouffer and Jayneisha Davis led a balanced attack with 7 points each. The girls will take on Bishop McDevitt tonight.

The JV and Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball games between Central Dauphin and Bishop McDevitt scheduled for Friday 12/17/10 has been rescheduled for Thursday 12/16/10. Please note the following changes to the schedule: ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT CENTRAL DAUPHIN HIGH SCHOOL. The Boys Freshman game scheduled for 3:45 is postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. Both boys and girls JV games will be played at 4:00pm. The boys JV game will be played in the main gym and girls JV game will be played in the Auxiliary gym. The Varsity Girls game will be played at 6:00pm in the Main Gym. The Varsity Boys game will be played at 7:30pm in the Main Gym. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Confer.

The Freshman Lady Rams defeated Chambersburg 42-22 in their 1st road opener. Maya Hairston led the Rams with 12 points, Jasmine McKenzie was 2 for 3 from the 3pt line and had 10 points, and Shatara Parsons had 8. The girls are on the road again next Tuesday at Trinity.
