CD Girls Golf News

The girls golf team traveled to the Spring-Ford Invitational this weekend where they fell to District 1 rival Radnor. Junior Allison Cooper ended her round with a birdie-birdie finish to shot a 3 under par 68. This enabled her to edge Radnor Brynn Walker by one shot to win the tournament. The girls travel to York tomorrow to try and capture their fourth straight District 3 title.

The girls golf team won its 4th consecutive Mid-Penn Championship yesterday defeating Hershey by 15 shots. The Rams were led by Allison Cooper who won her 3rd consecutive Mid-Penn Individual title by shooting a 3 over par 73. Also contributing was Nora Mater who finished 4th overall by shooting an 83 and Alexis Hartwick who finished 7th overall by shooting an 87. The team now travels to the Spring-Ford Invitational tomorrow to take on District 1 powerhouses Radnor and Mount Saint Joseph.

The girls golf team traveled to the Dubois Girls Golf Invitational yesterday where they successfully defended their championship by defeating Villa Maria from Erie by 22 shots. Allison Cooper shot 5 over par to win the individual title. Teammates Alexis Hartwick shot 6 over par and Nora Mater shot 7 over par finished second and third overall. The team travels to the Carlisle Barracks today to take on Boiling Springs and Hershey.

The girls golf team won by 27 shots over Hershey yesterday at Hershey Country Club by a final score of 356-383. Leading the way for the Rams was Allison Cooper who shot a 78. Alexis Hartwick finished 3rd overall, shooting an 86 and teammate Nora Mater finished 4th shooting an 87.
