CD Freshmen splash onto Mid Penn Diving Scene" - Central Dauphin divers Rachel McCormick and Matt Mullen placed 7th and 4th respectively at the Mid Penn Diving championships earlier last week. Both Rachel and Matt had outstanding performances and secured births to the PIAA District 3 Championships later this month. Rachel tallied 321.65 points finishing a solid 7th out of 28 competitors, as Matt scored 299.65 points and finished 4th out of 15 competitors. This is a great accomplishment, considering both athletes are in their first year of High School Competition. Each has a chance to qualify for the State PIAA Championship if they finish in the top five at District 3's. We wish these two hard working freshmen much success in their endeavors on the springboards in the upcoming weeks.
