Day 1 of the district tournament is complete. CD has 7 wrestlers remaining. We have 2 in the semis and 5 in the consi’s. Currently in 2nd in team points.

Congratulations once again goes out to the varsity wrestling team for winning the District 3 Sectional Team Championships this past weekend.

The Rams finished 25 points ahead of their closest competitor, Manheim Central, and qualified 9 varsity wrestlers to the Southcentral Regional Championships which will be held at the Giant Center this coming weekend.

Placing Winners and Regional Qualifiers were: Bryce Buckman and Cian Blythe in 5th place, Josh Miller, Tye Weathersby, Timmy Smith, and Jaden Baylor in 3rd place, Mitchell Arch and Carter Urich in 2nd place, Chris Wright, Andrew Wert, and Mitchell Talbott in 1st place.

Congrats to the CD Wrestling Team for placing top 8 in the state of PA as a team. The team lost a tough 29-28 dual to 4th place Canon Mac. CD finished with a 21-4 dual record. Now we turn our focus to the individual season. Sectionals are this weekend at Hempfield H.S.

Central Dauphin falls to Canon-McMillan 29-28 in the final bout of the PIAA Class 3A Team Wrestling Championships consolation third round. Rams won 8 matches, but Canon-McMillan had bonus in 5 of 6 victories. Rams are the last District III 3A team eliminated from states.

Central Dauphin defeats Boyertown 54-21 in a PIAA Class 3A preliminary match. CD (19-2) will face District VII champion Kiski Area (16-1) Thursday at 8 pm at Giant Center. CD is 32-13 all-time with 4 titles in PIAA Team, Kiski is 20-10 with no titles. Great Job Guys!

Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team for qualifying for the Pennsylvania State Wrestling Championships this past weekend. They defeated Spring Grove by a score of 40-25. The Rams will open up tonight at 6:00 in our house against the Boyertown Bears who are a District 1 Representative. Come on out and support your ram wrestlers.

CD Wrestling defeated Spring Grove 40-25 in the District 3 AAA Team 3 Place match. They will wrestle on Monday night at HOME @ 6pm. This will be the first round of the PIAA AAA Team Championships! Great Job Guys!

What a great day and great ending to the season! The Junior High boys went 5-0 today winning the Central Dauphin Duals. Not only winning today but ending the season with a flawless 15-0 record. They stepped it up beating a very tough unbeaten State College team!

Central Dauphin will wrestle Spring Grove for the 3rd place spot in the District 3 AAA Team Championship on Saturday, FEB 3rd at 1:00 PM at the Spartan Center on the Milton Hershey Campus.

Congratulations to the RAMS for their 42-22 win over Gettysburg in the 1st round of consolations of the District Team Tournament. The also defeated Dallastown 32-25 in the semifinals. They will now take on Spring Grove for 3rd place at Milton Hershey on Saturday at 1pm.

Hunter Bentz from CD Wrestling was named the Hoffman Ford Wrestler of the Match AND given the honor of the Capital Region Insurance Agency Move of the Match! Bentz trailed his entire match to come back and win in the final seconds! He is the first wrestler to receive both honors!

Come on out tonight and cheer on our wrestlers as our seniors will wrestle their last regular season dual meet in the RAM SHED. Our Rams current record is 13-1 The varsity match will start at 7:00. The wrestlers will compete against a very tough Chambersburg Trojan Team that currently has an overall record of 13 wins and 1 loss. Lets see how many of our wrestlers will be sporting the very popular "PIN CHAIN" at the end of the match.

Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team for their convincing dual meet win over Carlisle by the score of 53-19. That moves them to an overall record of 13-1 for the season.

Collecting "Pin Chain" for the Rams last evening were Mitchell Arch, Chris Wright, Andrew Wert, Kollin McCollough, Jackson Talbott, Mitchell Talbott and Carter Urich.

The wrestlers will take on the Chambersburg Trojans next Thursday in the RAM SHED on Senior Night. Come out and support your wrestlers.

Congratulations CD Wrestling 2018 Souderton Big Red Duals Champions! The Rams mowed through the tournament field by posting victories over Unionville (65-11 - Falls by Josh Miller, Bryce Buckman, Andrew Wert, Hunter Bentz, Mitchell Talbott & Carter Urich.), Avon Grove (70-9 - 11 pin chains were earned!) and Neshaminy (52-14 - 6 pin chains earned!), then took down Woodstown (N.J.) by a 41-30 margin to win the tournament crown.

Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team for winning the Souderton "Big Red" Duals this past weekend in Philadelphia. The Rams went 4-0 with wins over Unionville, Avon Grove, Neshaminy and the championship win over Woodstown High School from New Jersey. The Wrestling team overall records currently stands at 12-1 with 2 remaining dual meets left of the regular season. Come out and support your CD Wrestlers.

This Saturday, Jan. 6th starting at 9:00 AM, the Rams will host the CD Duals! Teams Included: CD, Big Spring HS, Connelsville Area HS, Father Judge HS, State College Area HS, Waynesboro Area HS.

Congratulations to the CD Rams varsity wrestling team for their 17th place finish at the country's, yes country's, toughest high school tournament, 140 teams represented from over 30 states.

CD's Chris Wright was our highest place winner, placing 2nd and losing in the finals to the #1 ranked wrestler in the country at 126 lbs. If you see Chris, make sure to congratulate him on an awesome performance.

The wrestlers will travel across the river this Thursday night, to do battle with the Eagles of Cumberland Valley. Come out and cheer on your CD Wrestlers.

CD Wrestling News: 2017 Mule Classic Champions

Congratulations to the Rams Wrestling Team for winning the 26 team Prestigious Southern Lancaster County Winter Classic this past weekend. They finished 75 points ahead of the second place team.

Eleven of the fourteen wrestlers stood on the championship podium and brought home hardware.

Attention Wrestlers, Pre-season practice will begin this Tuesday, September 12 after school and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursday until the start of the regular season. The workouts will be after school until 4:30. Bring your running shoes and your wrestling shoes to every practice.
