Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team for setting a new district 3 record for the most team points scored at their sectionals this past weekend. The rams advanced 11 wrestlers to the district 3 South Central regional tournament which will be held in Hershey this coming Friday and Saturday.

CD Wrestling 2012 District 3 Champions

Congratulations to the CD High Wrestling Team for winning their 5th consecutive District 3-AAA Title by defeating Mechanicsburg 35-22. This is a new District 3 record.

This past weekend the CD Wrestling team defeated Mechanicsburg 35 – 22. This accomplishment earned Central Dauphin its 5th consecutive District 3 Championship, which is a new PA record. Congratulations wrestlers and good luck at states.

Congratulation to the boy varsity wrestling team for winning five dual meets this past weekend at the Tom Hecker Memorial classic. This moves the rams to a record of 16-0. The wrestler will continue their quest for their 5th straight District III title this Tuesday at home. The first match round begins at 5:00 and the second match begins at 7:00.

Congratulations to Rams Wrestling team for breaking the District III and PA state consecutive win record, which was 78 straight wins. The wrestlers won five Dual Meets this past Saturday moving the new record to 82 and counting. The rams will try to increase the record when they travel to Big Springs this Wed to wrestling the 11-1 Bulldogs. Come out and support the team.

The wrestling team will be traveling to Cedar Cliff tonight to take on the Colts at 7:00.

The rams are looking to tie the District 3 consecutive dual meet winning streak at 77 straight wins which began in the 2007 season.

CD Wrestling is Selected for the Sportsmanship Award

Each year, the staff and the officials at the Beast of the East wrestling tournament select a team award based on Sportsmanship. This is one of the best recognition awards that the staff and the officials provide each year! The Sportsmanship Award is a great reflection of our team and staff. Congratulations to the CD Wrestling team and staff for this accomplishment.

5th Place Finish: The Beast of the East

Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team for their 5th place finish at the nations toughest tournament, The Beast of the East, this past weekend. The rams came home with a top ten finish out of 97 teams. Central Dauphin was the top public high school.
